Timbercreek Capital Launches New Alternative Investment Business Targeting Commercial Real Estate Opportunities
TORONTO, July 05, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Timbercreek Capital (“TCAP”), a leading alternative asset class investment manager in Canada, has announced the launch of Timbercreek Alternatives. This new subsidiary aims to capitalize on investment opportunities in commercial real estate created by current market conditions. The company will focus on bringing unique investment offerings to wealth management, high-net-worth, and Family Office investor channels.
According to Blair Tamblyn, Chief Executive Officer of Timbercreek Capital, the recent market conditions have presented an exceptional opportunity to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns in commercial real estate. Leading the Timbercreek Alternatives team is Fraser McEwen, who joined TCAP earlier this year as President of Timbercreek Alternatives.
