Executive and Senior Moves in North American Wealth Management – May 2023

“Executive and Senior Moves in North American Wealth Management Sector Highlighted in May”

In the dynamic world of wealth management, the North American sector saw several key executive and senior moves during the month of May. These changes reflect the ongoing evolution and growth of the industry, as well as the strategic decisions made by leading firms to enhance their leadership teams.

State Street, a prominent financial institution, appointed Taryn Siglain as the new head of financing solutions. Siglain, who joined State Street in 2023, brings a wealth of experience from her previous role at Morgan Stanley. Her appointment follows the retirement of Gino Timperio, who had a distinguished 35-year career with the firm.

BNY Mellon also made a significant appointment, naming Kevin Weeks as the global head of sales and relationship management for its corporate trust business. Weeks, who previously worked at US Bank, will be based in New York City and report to Cécile Nagel, the global head of corporate trust.

Vistra, a provider of essential business services, appointed David Reichert as director of international expansion solutions. Reichert, who previously worked at Vistra through its acquisition of Radius Worldwide, brings a wealth of experience from his time at Automatic Data Processing.

In addition to these key appointments, other notable moves in the North American wealth management sector include the addition of Joe Sholden as a director and financial advisor at Baird’s private wealth management office in Fort Worth, Texas, and the appointment of Ron Pruitt as president of Orion Wealth Management.

These changes highlight the ongoing evolution and growth of the wealth management sector in North America, as firms continue to strengthen their leadership teams and position themselves for future success. The industry remains dynamic and competitive, with talented professionals driving innovation and excellence in the delivery of financial services to clients.
