Upcoming Events and Updates from REFA: Capital Conversations, Golf & Tennis Tournament, Emerging Leaders Panel, and Annual Gala

The Real Estate Finance Association (REFA) in Boston, MA is making waves with its recent events and upcoming activities.

The organization’s DEI Committee hosted a panel titled Capital Conversations: Navigating Wealth Creation, Equity, and Real Estate Investment on June 18th. The session featured speakers Onay Payne from Manulife Investment Management and Ralph Parent from Parent + Diamond, with moderation by Caroline Suarez. The panel explored the role of real estate investment in creating wealth and the importance of partnerships in bringing investment opportunities to communities of color.

REFA is also gearing up for its Charitable Golf & Tennis Tournament on July 29th at Woodland Golf Club. Sponsorships and registration are now available on their website, with various sponsors already on board, including Berkshire Residential Investments, Bank of America, and Newmark.

In addition to the upcoming tournament, REFA has announced two more exciting events: the REFA Emerging Leaders Summer Panel on July 31st and the 26th Annual Gala on October 17th at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. The Gala is a highlight of the year for the real estate finance community, bringing together over 500 members to network and honor their peers with the Swain Distinguished Service Award.
