Announcing the Finalists for the 2024 Financial Planner of the Year Award!

The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa has announced the three finalists for the prestigious 2024 Financial Planner of the Year Award. The finalists, Gareth Collier CFP®, Rudolph Geldenhuys CFP®, and René Van Der Spreng CFP®, will be competing for the top prize at the upcoming FPI Convention in Cape Town.

The FPOTY award, launched in 2000, recognizes excellence in the profession and practice of financial planning. The winner will receive the FPI Financial Planner of the year trophy, a certificate, and will be appointed as one of the FPI’s professional brand ambassadors.

Gareth Collier is known for guiding clients towards financial freedom through strategic investing, while Rudolph Geldenhuys has excelled in investment planning and financial planning law. René Van Der Spreng brings nearly two decades of experience in wealth management to the table.

In addition to the FPOTY award, other prizes will be distributed at the Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony, including the Diversity and Inclusion Award, the Harry Brews Award, the It Starts with Me Award, the Student Competition Award, and the Top Candidate Award.
