Announcing the Finalists for the 2024 Financial Planner of the Year Award

The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa has announced the three finalists for the prestigious 2024 Financial Planner of the Year Award. The finalists are Gareth Collier CFP®, Rudolph Geldenhuys CFP®, and René Van Der Spreng CFP®. These three individuals have been recognized for their excellence in the profession and practice of financial planning.

The winner of the award will be announced at the FPI Convention in Cape Town on August 13th. The Financial Planner of the Year award is highly sought after and recognizes outstanding talent in the financial planning industry. The winner will receive a trophy, certificate, and the title of FPI professional brand ambassador.

In addition to the Financial Planner of the Year award, there will be other prizes distributed at the Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony, including the Diversity and Inclusion Award, the Harry Brews Award, the It Starts with Me Award, the Student Competition Award, and the Top Candidate Award.

The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa is the only professional body in South Africa to offer the FSA™, RFP™, and CFP® professional designations. They are approved by the South African Revenue Service and offer professional designations that are registered on the National Learning Registered Database.
