Introducing Trimble Unity: A Comprehensive Asset Lifecycle Management Software Suite
Trimble, a leading provider of technology solutions for various industries, has recently announced the launch of a new asset lifecycle management software suite called Trimble Unity. This suite is designed to help owners of capital projects and public infrastructure efficiently plan, design, build, operate, and maintain their assets using centralized data and connected digital workflows.
By combining Trimble’s best-of-breed point solutions for capital program and asset management, Trimble Unity offers end-to-end asset lifecycle management capabilities that can help owners optimize their processes, improve outcomes, and lower the total cost of asset ownership. In fact, owners who use this asset lifecycle management approach can reduce the total cost of asset ownership by as much as 40%.
Cyndee Hoagland, Senior Vice President of the Owner and Public Sector markets at Trimble, highlighted the benefits of Trimble Unity, stating that it is designed to help asset owners achieve core goals such as improving asset performance, enhancing stakeholder collaboration, and optimizing budgets efficiently. The suite provides a holistic approach that enables better decisions about asset rehabilitation and replacement, facilitates reliable service delivery, and ensures regulatory compliance.
Shelly Nooner, vice president of innovation and platform for Trimble’s Owner and Public Sector, emphasized that Trimble Unity brings together the best of Trimble’s heritage solutions to provide customers with even more value for their investment. By making relevant data accessible to stakeholders across the entire asset lifecycle, Trimble Unity helps owners and their collaborators make better-informed decisions at every phase.
The capabilities of Trimble Unity include Trimble Unity Construct, Trimble Unity Maintain, Trimble Unity Permit, and Trimble Connect, among others. These capabilities offer cloud-based construction project and program management, enterprise asset management, permitting and licensing management, and a connected data environment for streamlined accessibility and collaboration.
Trimble Unity is available in a single-contract subscription called the Trimble Unity Asset Lifecycle Management Subscription, which provides customers with advantages over traditional point-solution procurement processes. This subscription streamlines procurement, facilitates user adoption, reduces investment risk, and allows customers to scale the subscription to their needs easily.
Core components of the Trimble Unity suite are already available, with Trimble Unity Field expected to be available in August 2024. Customers can learn more about Trimble Unity and its capabilities on the Trimble website.
